We have some exciting news to share — the Sierra Nevada Dahlia Society is opening nominations for a new Secretary position on our Board of Directors!
As some of you may know, our wonderful Secretary, Lauryn, will be stepping down at the end of December. A founding member of our society, Lauryn has served as Secretary since day one, and we truly wouldn’t even be an organization without her efforts! We’re now looking for a passionate, organized, and engaged member to join our leadership team as Secretary. This is a great volunteer opportunity to be more involved, help shape the direction of our society, and work closely with an amazing group of dahlia loving people!

September 16: Monthly Member Meeting at Aloft Hotel! 6-7pm. Topic: Dahlia Shows
September 27: Dahlia Show event at Moana Nursery Design Center! 1-4pm. If you’d like to participate in the show, please try to attend the September 16 meeting if you can as we will be providing lots of details on how to exhibit dahlias! If you can’t make it, no worries! We will provide a recording of the meeting to those that are interested. We will be sending an email out to members all about the show details, supplies, etc. soon!!
