SNDS Hosts Our First Dahlia Show at Moana Nursery

September 27, 2025 – Reno, NV

Our very first Sierra Nevada Dahlia Society Dahlia Show was an incredible success, and we couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who helped make it happen. Held on September 27 at Moana Nursery, the event brought together local growers, flower lovers, and community supporters for a beautiful afternoon celebrating dahlias in all their forms.

A Stunning Display of Blooms

With tables lined from end to end, exhibitors showcased an impressive range of dahlia varieties—from petite pompons to unique cactus varieties, and even locally grown dahlia varieties from seed. The room was filled with color, creativity, and the joy of seeing our growers’ hard work on display. For a first-year show, the turnout was truly outstanding!
